The Law Offices of John Michael Jensen is committed to helping optimize your financial position, recognize risks, and negotiate beneficial arrangements that build lasting partnerships and relationships. When starting a business, one of the primary legal considerations is the structure of the entity. This involves choosing between forms like a sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company (LLC), or corporation. Each structure has distinct legal implications for liability, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Contracts are the foundation of most business transactions. Issues in this area include the negotiation, drafting, and review of agreements to ensure they are legally binding and enforceable. This encompasses sales contracts, service agreements, leases, and non-disclosure agreements. Understanding and properly executing contracts can protect businesses from legal disputes and liabilities.
